Culturally Aware Image Generation is a fine-tuned AI model built to authentically depict the Arab world in generative visuals.

One of the core challenges in popular text-to-image models is their lack of exposure to Arab specific data, leading to outputs that are often inaccurate, stereotypical, or stripped of cultural nuance. To overcome this, MadeBy partnered with the MiddleFrame to create the first image generation model designed for the Arab world. We curated a large-scale, diverse dataset of Arab focused images and fine-tuned leading diffusion models to better align with regional context. The result is a model capable of producing visuals that feel accurate, respectful, and rooted in context, whether it’s traditional architecture, attire, or people. This initiative highlights our commitment to cultural representation in AI-generated content.
